General Hospital Sets Bryan Craig's Return as Morgan
Rumors have been swirling for a while now — fueled in part by Bryan Craig himself. Now the truth can be told. The General Hospital alum is returning to the soap as Morgan Corinthos, our sister site TVLine reports exclusively. But there’s a catch.
Come on. You knew that there had to be one. Isn’t there always?
Turns out the daytime drama is only bringing the Emmy winner back as Sonny and Carly’s son for a one-off guest spot to air in August.
Perhaps Morgan will appear to his father in a vision to let Pops know just how unstable he’s become since Valentin started messing with his bipolar medication. (Shouldn’t what the don did to poor Dex’s face already have done that?) Or maybe Michael’s half brother will haunt ex-lover Ava and serve up a chilling reminder of what happened the last time someone’s pills got tampered with.

If Craig doesn’t want to return to daytime full-time, it would be understandable. Since leaving General Hospital in 2016, the up-and-comer has become something of a primetime mainstay. He recurred on The CW’s short-lived military drama Valor, landed a lead on the ill-fated primetime soap Grand Hotel and was a regular on Freeform’s Good Trouble for the last two seasons of the Fosters spinoff. His last visit to Port Charles was in 2018, when he (and others) reconnected with femme fatale Ava from beyond the grave.
